eGaming Awards Hat-Trick
eGaming Review is the UK’s most important publication for online gaming, and Bingo is one of the most hotly contested industry sectors at the moment and last Wednesday Jackpotjoy.com won a hat-trick of awards at eGaming Review’s annual dinner, including the Bingo Site of the Year.
In every industry there’s an awards ceremony that really brings out the crème de la crème, and in online gaming is the eGaming Review Awards Annual Dinner which took place last Wednesday, November 30th.
Though there were a number of awards given out on the night, the real winners were Jackpotjoy who scooped a hat-trick of top honours including the much coveted Bingo Site of the Year.
“It’s always a thrill to win awards, and when they’re from a publication as prestigious as eGaming Review it’s even better!” explains Michael Saunders, the delighted Managing Director of Jackpotjoy.
“Winning Bingo Site of the Year is a real achievement, and I know the team will be over the moon. At Jackpotjoy we’ve never lost sight of our roots in Bingo, and I’m proud of the number of innovative variations on Bingo we’ve produced over the past year.”
The innovations Michael refers to include Bingo Royale, which offers the chance of Royal Pardons where the Queen of Bingo – Barbara Windsor herself – will come into the room at the end of some games and call for more balls and create even more winners than ever.
They’ve also launched Jack’s Chest which sees another character from their TV campaign appear in Bingo Rooms and spread the wealth amongst everyone who bought tickets.
“We knew we’d had a good year – the proof was in the numbers – but to get that reflected in the award was something you can never really expect. It’s a massive well done to everyone involved, not least the players who keep us on our toes and really make Jackpotjoy the exciting site it is!”
Alongside winning Bingo Site of the Year, Jackpotjoy won Slots Site of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year.
