Swedish JPJ’s First Progressive Jackpot Win
Just a few weeks after launching, Jackpotjoy’s brand new Swedish site celebrated its first progressive jackpot winner last weekend when Karolina R won a staggering 972,352kr (£86,932) with a £1 wager playing Deal or No Deal.
Not happy with just being the UK’s most popular online slots and bingo site, Jackpotjoy is currently expanding into the European market with their first port of call being Sweden, whose new Jackpotjoy.se site opened at the beginning of March.
“One of the advantages of coming into the market with a mature product is that you come armed with a range of big progressive jackpots,” explains Michael Saunders, Head of Jackpotjoy.
For those who don’t know, a progressive jackpot is one that’s fed by a portion of every wager taken on a specific game. The jackpot will continue to climb until someone wins it. New sites often struggle as their progressives won’t have had the time to grow, but this isn’t a problem for Jackpotjoy.se who celebrated their first big winner over the weekend.
Karolina R was one of the first ten people to register on the new site, and had been a member for less than a week when she won a full 972,352kr (£86,932) playing Jackpotjoy’s famous Deal or No Deal Slot game.
During a brief chat with her, Karolina confirmed she’s a student who’ll be paying off her student loan with some of the money as well as buying a new bike and saving the rest – sensible girl!
Alongside the Deal or No Deal Jackpot, players in Sweden can play for Jackpotjoy’s exclusive Tiki Temple progressive jackpot which currently stands at over £750,000kr or Diamond Bonanza which is offering over £230,000kr.
All these games, alongside loads more, are currently available to play in English or Swedish with Jackpotjoy
