When you use our Website, we may collect Personal Data about you. We have set out below what data we collect and how we collect it.
You are under no obligation to provide Personal Data to us. However, certain Personal Data is essential to provide to us if you wish to apply to job opportunities we offer on our Website.
Information you directly provide to us
We collect the following information from you when you use our Website to apply for a job opportunity and to process your application for potential employment:
|Job applicants||your name and address, your contact details including telephone number and email address, your CV or personal profile, employment history, qualifications and copies of certificates, proof of residence such as utility bill (this required for live dealer roles and operational roles), right to work documentation such as passport or full birth certificate, next of kin information, health information and nation insurance number. We may also keep a record of any correspondence we have with you.|
|Usage Data:||We collect information about how you use the Website, pages visited, and content viewed, links and buttons clicked. When you enter your information to apply for jobs, your information may be used for internal statistical and reporting purposes, but no information which may identify you will be used for this purpose.

Information we collect from publicly available resources
As part of our recruitment process, we may collect information about you from publicly available resources such as social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn) and internet search engines (e.g. Google).
These checks allow us to gather information to have a better understanding about you as an applicant and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations (relevant to senior management roles).
We collect Special Categories of Personal Data, such as health information, if we should know about it to accommodate you through the recruitment process, such information will only be collected with your prior explicit consent. We may collect information about criminal convictions and offences in specific circumstances to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We will only use your Personal Data as permitted by law. Most commonly, we will use your Personal Data in the following circumstances:
- For our legitimate interests before, during and after the end of our employment relationship. Our legitimate interest is hiring the right staff for our business.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
- Where you have consented to our use of your Personal Data.
We will use your Personal Data for the purpose of recruitment and potential employment. Please contact our DPO (see Section 2) if you need details about the specific legal ground, we are relying on to process your Personal Data. Your information may be used for internal statistical and reporting purposes, but no information which may identify you will be used for this purpose.
Gamesys may engage the services of third-party service providers (including, but not limited to, Greenhouse Software Inc) and suppliers for certain activities including, but not limited to, processing your information, providing technical support, and maintaining your account. Gamesys take steps to ensure that arrangements with third party service providers protect your privacy by ensuring that these third parties comply strictly with instructions when they are processing your Personal Data.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your Personal Data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your Personal Data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your Personal Data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
We primarily store and process your data within the European Union (“EU”).
However, in the following cases we can transfer your Personal Data outside the EU:
- If we have a legal or regulatory reason to do so;
- If we use third parties service providers located outside of the EU; or
- If you have consented to this transfer.
To operate our Website, we may use third party service providers which are based outside the EU, so their processing of your Personal Data will involve a transfer of data outside the EU.
In terms of the applying for jobs through the Website we use a third-party service provider (Greenhouse Software Inc. – Please read their privacy notice here) which is based outside the EU (United States of America).
Whenever we transfer your Personal Data to a service provider outside of the EU, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

We will only retain your Personal Data for twelve (12) months for the purpose of recruitment if you are unsuccessful. Thereafter, your Personal Data will be purged and cannot be recovered.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your Personal Data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your Personal Data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that Personal Data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made several requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
